Rural mundaneness, but IR..
Also from my semi motivated post summer hike, classic b&w this time, but via a false-color development (the 720nm 'winter land scape') first to have more wiggle room for tweaking. The dark field in the foreground was freshly plowed. 🚜
Part of the reason why I'm not very active here recently is that my right hand is still bothering me (the tendon thing), unfortunately. While I was collecting tons of infrared panoramas (~200GB sitting on some disc now) over the summer, in an effort to get away from the computer (clicking, which I couldn't do much of), eventually the active part of my semi-pathetic photographic endeavors came to a screeching halt as well now, since there is really limited sense or appeal in producing heaps of photos without the ability to develop them. 😕
Positive aspect (gotta look out for these too, ..right?); this really showed me the place and value of photography in my / this life 😳, and that surfing Flickr and connecting with what you guys are doin' without sharing some of my own is nice too (..beware of too much inspiration without outlet though). 😧
I picked up reading, which kinda fell dormant in recent times, but I do a lot of now / again. Currently going / tripping down some deep philosophical / metaphysical rabbit hole I had stuck in the back of my mind for years.
Ironically, IR photography partially led to or prepared the ground for this also.. but that's a story for another day. 😜
Nikon D3300 (APS-C, fullspectrum mod)
AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8 G prime
Hoya R72 (720nm longpass filter)
ISO200, 50mm, f/7.1, 1/320sec (-.3EV)
(thus 75mm full frame equivalent)
single photo, handheld, ..afternoon light
