Peyote flowering # 28

That is an older stack, pandemic times, one of my peyote buttons (lophophora williamsii) flowering, it was a bit tricky not blocking the light with the lens yet have it go inside the blossoms and cast a bit of a shadow. Also visible, the multicolor sparkle / relfection of the plant cells with natural light macros, less so with the petals, mainly the flesh of the cactus.

I like seeing my succulents and cacti flower, not only pretty, they are also telling me that they are doing ok.
