BIG cloud (510nm IR, digital Aerochrome)
Ok, that is from the weather change in March (where I quick-froze myself), pretty strong wind, impressive cloud formations, where it was literally 'in the air' that something is about to happen, anytime. (Weather flipped in the night / the next day though.)
To put the cloud into perspective, the 'hill' on the left (can't see the actual top) pulls off an elevation gain of ~1400m 😳 to the lake at the base.
This is 13mm, on DX, on a regular tripod head, tilted up! (12112 x 10123px), ..so it was kind of a nasty / dirty stitch, if you know what I mean. 😝
Technically it's a 5 piece pano, cylindrical arrangement, originally ~122,6MP, chopped to a panoramic format with 12112 x 4160px, 50,4MP, ratio ~2,9:1.
Nikon D3300 (APS-C / DX, fullspectrum mod)
Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di ll VC HLD
heliopan SH-PMC deep yellow 4x (15, G) filter
B+W 010 UV-Haze 1x MRC F-Pro filter
ISO100, 13mm, f/8, 1/320sec
(therefore 19,5mm full frame equivalent)
tripod, regular 3-way head, remote (ML-L3)
