The end of the road? (digital Aerochrome, 510nm)
Just a snapshot, some good old mundaneness. Who would have thought that I would do that much infrared stuff, in all sorts of con-ditions, handheld, in freakin' February..?
With this development routine, I mostly take care of the sky but leave the foliage alone, cause I feel like there is a natural balance in there somewhere, that reflects the respective conditions. And I like that. Sometimes it's kinda flat and moody, when the sun hits it gets intense and bright and so on.
When I start messing with the red, magenta, purple individually, it looks like I'm loosing or disturbing this balance. The shadows have something soft and mystical about them too sometimes.
The grass here is completely brown and flattened from snow, leaf-less deciduous trees; presume all this will take on some nice color in spring.
Nikon D3300 (APS-C / DX, fullspectrum mod)
Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di ll VC HLD
heliopan SH-PMC deep yellow 4x (15, G) filter
B+W 010 UV-Haze 1x MRC F-Pro filter
ISO320, 24mm, f/8, 1/125sec (-1.3EV)
(thus 36mm full frame equivalent)
single shot, handheld, manual, still on track..
