Ethereal

So, I decided to share a selection of the output of this panorama session in a somewhat chronological order. I did 15 panos total, 3 duds I did not develop, 3 more or less redundant where I did some bracketing (which turned out to be unnecessary, but there was no way I'm going to mess up or miss any of this lovely opportunity, do you know that kind of thing?), and 3 at the end that were more documentary.

The sun was about to set here, shadows getting longer, color of the remaining light changing slowly but surely.

And it is pretty interesting how much the fog reacts to not being in the sun anymore! Really cool to watch, and all sorts of things can happen. I like the fluffy 'reachable' shadow part in front, the tender color palette overall and ethereal nature of it all, there are just the two hills and the mountain range, the rest of the image is thin air, literally!

Source here is a 10 piece panorama, ~182,3MP, finished off with 8193 x 4762px, 39MP.
