Kodak EKTACHROME Infrared (not)

Expired (and overexposed) Kodak Aerochrome, ..really? 🤔 NOPE! This is just for fun, or frustration I should say at this point...

I think it's fair to say that my trusty old fullspec D90 let me explore the 720nm wavelength quite thoroughly, I learned a lot, and limits often make inventive (panoramic approach etc.), but I'm starting to think more often about a more contemporary IR body, since I'm still interested in this whole schtik.

My attempts to go shorter (650nm) failed pretty spectacularly with the D90, and now I'm dabbling with JW Wong's single photo IRG method (which I'm quite intrigued by, cause it attempts on principle to replicate what the actual film stock did) for a bit, but not with too much success either, unfortunately. And recently, the advent of all these "IR chrome" type filters, that's exciting.

Getting the suspicion that there is something off with this camera body, not just a little outdated, but why did I manage to get ok-ish 720nm results then?

Anyway, I did not! follow Wong's algorithm here, however, created the sources with a setup that, in theory, should be suitable for it. A bit letdown not getting anywhere with this, I started to more or less randomly 'abuse' my testshots in different ways and had at least a little bit of fun with it.

That's one piece of the outcome, but it's not a development route I plan on refining or applying further since it's kind of unstable, very dependent on the composition etc.

So technically that's a, well.. semi-fullspectrum?, ..not sure what to call it or if it matters, but in my heart, it qualifies as a fullspectrum / infrared shot.
