Forest lake lookout II (720nm IR)
So this is the second panorama I took at this location, now down by the water, I wanted to get as close to these tufts of grass as possible.
One tripod leg were on this wobbly plank, the others on the steep shore, which is all visible in the original, but since I got quite a bit of surrounding forest too, the lake and grass and stuff would have been secondary when showing all that. So I decided to go 'all in' with a more regular format, since I went square² with the first one already:

Source for this is a 36-piece mercator projection, ~384,2MP, which I cropped to 8:5 with 15806 x 9878px, ~156,1MP.
Nikon D90 (APS-C, fullspectrum mod)
Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di ll VC HLD
Hoya R72 (720nm infrared pass-filter)
ISO200, 24mm, f/6.3, 1,3sec
(therefore 36mm full frame equivalent)
tripod, panorama head, remote (ML-L3)
