In memoriam.. (IR)

of the perished gorge, that was one of my favorites, very secluded and just one pool and waterfall after another. Glad I made some pictures, before a severe storm came down in this area last year. The cliffs and rocky bed probably won't mind, this stuff is here for thousands of years and will be there long after we are all done, but all the intricate life, plants and oddities are gone, at least for a very long time, buried under meters of gravel, bolders the size of trucks went down there. But that's how nature works.

This image is a 4x6 crop of a 360° panorama (~266,9MP mercator projection) which took some serious time to expose, yielding 3430 x 5145px, ~17,6MP.

Due to the portrait orientation and Flickr's 'best display size' thing, this lends itself to zooming in. I recommend it.
