Petit canard plongeur dont l'espèce est menacée. Plumage brun rouille vif, triangle blanc contrastant sous la queue; l'œil du mâle est clair. Remarquer également la couronne pointue et le bec gris plutôt long.
Small diving duck whose species is threatened. Bright rusty brown plumage, contrasting white triangle under tail; the male's eye is clear. Also note the pointed crown and rather long gray bill.
