Die shot of the Vizio V6 7603B0-CFE3 Smart TV SOC Die Shot. This SOC is one of the two custom chips inside a Vizio M65-C1 4K LED Smart TV. The V6 processor contains a dual-core Cortex-A57 CPU cluster (top right), a quad-core Arm Mali 400 GPU complex (right side middle), and other features. The CPU cores run the OS, the internet browser, and the many applications that can be used on the TV. The four GPU cores are used to draw the menus for the smart TV functions and to draw and render the video and graphics from the various internet-based applications. The GPU also performs some video enhancements, particularly the ones that don’t require dedicated video processing hardware. This chip interfaces with SDRAM to store data while the chip processes information. Based on my research, this chip is likely made using the 28nm process.
