Southern Railway 6913, one of 4 remaining Southern E8A's, is seen in the deadlines at SARM's facilities in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. After the fading SR paint was over-coated with the scheme of New Jersey Transit, the rust is eating away at the shell revealing a few splotches of the original Southern green. Though you can't see it, the nose of the locomotive still faintly displays the Southern Herald, marking the units history and significance as it lingers in hopes of restoration.
