Critically endangered Sumatran tiger, named Dash, was welcomed to Chester Zoo in August 2022, to play a part in a vital conservation breeding programme, which is battling to help save the highly threatened species.
Dash became a first time parent with Kasarna, the zoo’s resident female, who was born at Chester in 2015. Much to the joy of the zoos carnivore experts, conservationists and visitors alike, to healthy twin cubs were born on January 7th 2023.
