Kazumichi Mogi
Ichi-dou
Along the way from Osaki Station East Exit 大崎駅東口からの道すがら
I’ve had a lifelong affinity for roads, streets, avenues—whatever—for walking, running, cycling, driving, anything connected with the idea of a “way.”
Perhaps it’s because my father, who practiced judo (柔道, literally “the gentle way”), named me Kazumichi (一道), meaning “one way.” I’ve always lived with the character 道 before my eyes.
