Intrepid learners

Local naturalist "Boot" Boutwell led a class on the winter solstice today, and the group was unfazed by today's snowfall. Boot began with some solstice poetry, science and lore and then led the group around the farm and adjoining woods, and returned to the farm for hot cider around a fire pit.
