Rockin' Legends
hey there! I've been at home for a week or so lately cause of the cold, so i didn't do much in those days except try to get homework done and watch some TV. One really good idea i've had for a while that i started to develop after healing and feeling better though was to make a Rock-related Figbarf of some sort, as Rock is one of my passions and, even though i've never played an instrument before outside of school nor i know much about music in general, i really enjoy listening to music in my free time, especially Rock and a little bit of Metal.

-Michael "Flea" Balzary (RHCP): i'm a huge fan of RHCP in general, especially Flea and Chad Smith and, when i decided to start making these characters, i knew i had t make the Bass Legend himself.
-Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit): the original idea for the Figbarf was to make some rad Rock characters and, in that case, Fred is a bit of an exception, as he plays some Rap-Metal in Limp Bizkit, but still, they're an awesome band and i love them.
-Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters): another band i'm a big fan of is definitely Foo Fighters: i started listening to them non-stop a few years ago when i discovered "The Pretender", a cool song i still listen to some time to time, so i wanted to pay tribute to Taylor Hawkins, who sadly passed away in 2022 due to a heart attack right after a concert.
-Kurt Cobain (Nirvana): out of the 4 bands fetaured in the photo, Nirvana is my least favorite. I'm not a huge fan of them cause i feel like they're slightly overrated: sure there are some awesome songs such as "Come as you are" or "Heart-Shaped Box" (which are my favorite Nirvana songs), but they're not really my style. Similar to Taylor, i felt necessaryto make Kurt Cobain to sorta pay tribute to such an important character in music's history, bringing Punk Rock and Grunge into the mainstream
That's all i have to say about the characters, it was fun to make the characters and try something i don't usually do.
