Paper Wasp Nest - the largest I have ever seen

I am still to identify the species of wasp. This nest was originally built within the burnt out basal hollow in a tree trunk, presumably the tree was a brush box (Lophostemon confertus). The nest was found in flood debris at high water mark in the groge, the tree having been separated from this nest by the flood.
