Autumn up North
On the outskirts of Gdynia, near Dębogórze lies a small siding, belonging to the fuel base operator PERN. In its fleet is the Czechoslovak ČKD-built S200-289. By sheer accident I managed to photograph it on 31.10.2025, as it was returning from the dropoff point for trains bound for the public PKP PLK network. The light engine was so slow, that I managed to chase it by bicycle.
The backdrop features hills formed by the latest ice age in Poland, which ended around 12 thousand years ago. Nowadays, these specific ones near Dębogórze house military complexes.
