Tow-Os
SM31-025 has brought an oversize load train from Wrocław to Czersk, after a journey, which lasted more than a week. From here onwards, the train needs to flip the direction of driving, which requires a lot of shunting work to be done. The train, composed out of 4 wagons + the generator carriage must be rearranged so that, after the loco changes the direction, the composition of the train stays the same.
Here, the entire train is almost ready and SKPL's SM31 pushes the flatbed carriages and passenger coaches towards the wagon housing the generator, which is being transported to the harbour of Gdynia.
The title - Tow-Os - is an old train designation for cargo+passenger trains, which were common on local rail lines up until the 1990s, allowing to fit cargo inbetween passenger services aswell as making everything slightly more economical. This train seems to serve a simmilar purpose, as the passenger coaches transport workers needed for the transport of the generator and the flatbed wagons store additional parts needed for its operation.
