Morning pickup
751.199 shunts with one cement car to the Carmeuse plant siding to drop off the wagon and to pick up a set of self-discharge carriages, which were to be delivered to Turňa nad Bodvou.
Every workday the Mn 82210 pickup train used to run from Plešivec to Veľká Ida on a single "Bardotka" (every single day with the same loco, even to this day). The train picked up and dropped off wagons on most of the stations and returned to Plešivec in the afternoon.
Every other day though, it also used to pick up a set of more than 20 empty wagons from the Carmeuse plant in Slavec, for loadup in Turňa nad Bodvou, where a large quarry is located (as the quarry in Slavec, near the cement plant, had been closed down years before). After loadup, three 751/752 locomotives take the full gravel train back to Slavec and the cycle repeats.
Now due to the modernisation of the railway line between Zvolen and Košice the future of local trains on the lines of Gemer is insecure. The depot in Plešivec is also slowly loosing prestige. With fewer and fewer tasks by the day, more trains are served with lighter 742 locos and the future doesn't look very promising.
