Years of not using this line in everyday regular traffic, and years of maintenance negligence, have taken their toll - the infrastructure is in very bad condition (so the very low speed limit here). But not so long - after all, the new Podłęże - Piekiełko line, which has been announced for years, will cause this line to be thoroughly modernized. On the other side, there will no longer be reason to run a retro train here. Who the heck would be interested in a retro train running on a modern synthetic railway line?

Lata nieużywania stacji w regularnym ruchu czy to pasażerskim, czy towarowym, a co za tym idzie - lata zaniedbań utrzymaniowych poczyniły swoje - tory się krzywią, wszystko trzyma się na słowo honoru. Ale już nie tak długo - w końcu od lat zapowiadana nowa linia Podłęże - Piekiełko spowoduje, że linia przez Limanową zostanie gruntownie zmodernizowana. Nie będzie już miejsca na pociągi retro (kto zresztą byłby zainteresowany pociągiem retro na nowoczesnej syntetycznej linii kolejowej), ale za to ruch wreszcie odżyje - niewykluczone, że kosztem głównie starej "Kryniczanki" z Tarnowa.
