Assignment 2: MySpace
I chose tiny bedside table space for my overall theme of “MySpace” because it’s the place I put the most effort into making the most “me”. Because I’m a college student and don’t have the funds to decorate my whole room the way I want, I wanted this space to be simple but personalized and I think I did a good job of achieving that. I mostly focused on the use of angles for my assignment, given the fact that this space is relatively small this would ensure that I get the most of my project and the audience is able to see 100% of the full area I’m capturing. If you analyze each photo you’ll see I have an aroma of different objects on my bedside table that show truth to who I am and the things I take interest in, however there are some objects that may leave the audience in wonder and mystery as they use context clues to figure out what purpose certain objects hold to me and why they’re in the photo at all such as the box on the lower level of the bedside table, and the rocks. I really want the audience to get a glimpse into who I am as their peer.
