"At first I was afraid, I was petrified"
I wanted to dedicate my last picture from Thailand to road safety... Its fair to say that Thailand is a LOVELY country with amazing people and one that will always be close to my heart. However, it is also fair to say, Thai's, like much in their lives take safety on their roads with a relaxed attitude and you haven't really arrived until you have been hit by one of their scooters walking down the side of the road!
The song I thought was a funny addition, But fitting, I was walking back to my hotel room the night before last and I heard this shouting coming from one of the clubs, honestly I thought at first a fight had broken out, sadly it was a singer giving her rendition of this 70s classic, but without the skill or voice of Ms Gaynor!
Anyway this is it from me and Thailand, I strongly suspect that this will be my last visit in my lifetime to the country, although I have had a wonderful time, this time and my first time.. (less so in Jan as those of you that followed me back then might recall as I was ill before even starting the trip!) my heart and soul belong elsewhere and perhaps I can find a scooter to hit me there too!
