Cutwater

The cutwaters, a beautiful idea to stop the stream from putting pressure on the bridge. Cutwaters also help avoid debris forming against the bridge upstream and stop the creation of whirlpools downstream. To me it shows perfect engineering from our past. ©️Kurtis De Paoli
