Alex waits for the Hogwarts Express
Day 7/7 - August 26th - Day 7 - Platform 9 & 3/4.. have you forgotten something maybe?
The time had finally come, Alex joined by his brother Riley had made it to Platform 9 3/4 just on time. If Alex had forgotten something, it was too late!
The platform was loud with the cacophony of students running around and parents patiently waiting for their children to board the train. Alex coughed a couple of times as the steam from the train filled his lungs. He swatted it away with his hand.
Looking up at his brother, who had come to wave him off, Alex couldn't help but fail to hide his grin. "Bet it seems a while since you last boarded... now that you're old!" Riley quipped a smile, pretending to ignore Alex's attempt. He simply tapped his watch, "Don't get ahead of yourself, you've only got two more years left yourself."
Alex's face drooped a little, realising it was true, in a couple of years time he'd no longer be a student and would probably have to wear a suit like Riley. He shook the thought from his head as soon as it had entered.
Riley then asked if Alex had everything, to which Alex nodded, "I've got everything I need!" He exclaimed confidently, crossing his arms. Riley teased, "Are you sure?" Alex nodded again, less confidently, as he visualised everything he had packed into his trunk. "Erm... I'm just going to check again." He said before proceeded to rummage through his trunk to be safe...
