🇵🇹 Lisbon, Portugal (2012)

Whitewashed walls and orange terracotta rooftops dot Lisbon's Alfama quarter. This one of Lisbon’s oldest areas with shops selling traditional crafts and cafes and Fado music heard in some of the area's long-running restaurants. Looking out at the Atlantic horizon there is nothing between here and the western hemisphere other than the Azores.
