Urban Remake 251214 Harmonize
To add shadows to the figures, I used the new Harmonize tool in Photoshop. The tool seems to not only add shadows on the ground but also changes the shading on the figures as well and also impacts other elements on the composition, e.g. making other figures darker towards the left.
Applying the tool substantially increases the size of the file (and impacted processing speed on my laptop), so I had to reduce the number of figures in the composition. I think spacing them out helps prevent the crowd from being so messy, but this then deviates a bit from the crowded dancers in the original piece. Still I think the general concept is still conveyed.
