Stuttgart lies deep in a basin surrounded from hills wich is not a pleasure in summer and in the heating period in winter.
Air quality is not the very best.
The bombings from the WWII destroyed the inner city and left a scar there. Most of the buildings were replaced with new ones what can be seen here.
Most of the houses on the hills are from the beginning 20ties and late 30ties of the last century.
The higher the property, the higher the price. A little like the Hollywood hills.
