Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) - immature
Determined to live wild and free again.
The same day his wing wrap was removed this juvenile Redtail was already flying to pick up lunch from a different perch. He must have been waiting for the food delivery as he didn't waste a minute nor care for me still being in his flight pen.
Since that time, he has been moved to a bigger flight pen with other Redtails and will begin prey testing.
