Eagle Moorhen 1
Very few times do I ever leave the seat of my truck taking my wildlife photos.
But sometimes you see something about to happen and you're on the wrong side of the truck. That's the case here.
I saw the eagle coming in for the catch, quickly reversed my truck for about 100 yards, stopped abruptly grabbing my camera with my Nikon 400mm F2.8 and my BLUBB beanbag and ran to the back of the truck just a second after he grabbed the bird. I got off two shots and luckily they were mostly in focus as you see here.
