Broad strokes

This night, the sunset was giving a lot of painting-like vibes.

 

I often keep the edits quite light, mostly adjusting exposure and color balance or doing other global adjustments, usually to make the photo resemble more what I observed at the time of taking the photo. This time, however, I was inspired by the brush stroke -like cloud formations and decided to emphasize them slightly with an uneven vignette by pulling the exposure down close the edges with some hand-drawn masks.
