Longyearbyen Homes

Longyearbyen is a remote Norwegian city located in the Arctic Ocean, halfway between mainland Norway and the North Pole. The area is known for its rugged, untouched landscapes of glaciers, mountains, and frozen tundra. I was struck by these colorful homes, then realized the color may alleviate some of the depression brought about by the long, dark winters.
