Meteora Sunset

Between the 13th and 14th centuries, a total of twenty-four monasteries were built atop the towering sandstone and conglomerate rocks. Today there are six monasteries still functioning. Perhaps the best time to view these amazing structures is when the sun is setting over the horizon.
