West Mitten Butte Sunset

The West and East Mitten Buttes (also known as the Mittens) are two buttes in the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park in northeast Navajo County, Arizona. Like all the buttes in Monument Valley, the West Mitten was created through the process of erosion via water, wind, and ice. I captured this image during the golden hour as the sun was setting over the Tribal Park.
