Long-Tail Boat and Swing
The long-tail boat (rua hang yao) is a traditional wood-built boat that is used throughout southern Thailand. The boats are powered by old car or truck engines and have a turret-like propeller pole that can be rotated 180 degrees from the stern. They are very fast and nimble and the best way to tour the Hong Island group.
