Mushroom Karst
The world’s most dramatic karsts can be found in China and Vietnam. They’re basically limestone formations that are weathered by water. One of the most famous karsts in Thailand is the James Bond Rock (Ko Tapu), a backdrop used in the filming of “Man with the Golden Gun.” I got a photo of this mushroom shaped karst while touring through the islands not far from Krabi.
