My Quarantine Project

I haven't been tinkering with lego, but I have been tinkering.

 

This is a 1996 e350 with the 460 (v8 7.5L), extended passenger van. I've been working on it since march 2020 intermittently. I don't have a garage, so it's all outside.

It was cheap and had/has quite a few problems.

 

Mechanical fixes I've done so far include:

Front brake replacement

front strut replacement

fluids changed over

vacuum line replaced

exhaust manifold bolts replaced exhaust manifolds resurfaced

passenger window motor replaced and regrounded

sway bar installed

other front suspension replaced

new tires and alignment (but I paid a shop to do that)

I'm sure I'm missing 10 things

 

non mechanical things:

backup cam installed

battery isolater with house battery installed

floor installed - 1/2 rigid foam with 1/2" plywood with vinyl flooring

an overengineered and poorly executed futon (on the right)

cedar plank (1/4") halfway installed on the roof

one window covered up (on right)

roof vent fan installed

sound deadening in doors

 

I'm also in school again lol
