Photo Assignment 3
For this assignment, I chose to emulate the postmodernism style of Andy Warhol. He was also who I chose for the photographer's style I believed would last for another 100 years to come given his unique take on modernistic photography. I particularly went on to mimic his canned food photographs where he basically took a simple photograph of a Campbell Soup Can and then duplicated them a couple of times with each being a different color. I did the same using a can of sleeping pills of which I took an original photograph and then duplicated it 6 times. Then I edited the photographs to each be a different shade/tint to emulate the same style of Andy Warhol. I particularly chose to use this object because Warhol seemed to take interest in using simple objects such as soup cans and add style to them with his modernistic twist rather than the image itself being super exotic or something to begin with. That's why I chose to keep my original object super simple and similar to a can as well. Hopefully I did a good job, thank you!
