Lost Crown of King John of England
I found this on the beach today!
in 1216 King John, King of England and his entourage were travelling through East Anglia. The wagons that escorted them contained their provisions and also the King's Jewels, known as the Crown Jewels of England.
The Wagons attempted to ford a river that was part of the huge estuary known as The Wash. Unfamiliar with the local terrain the party found themselves unable to outpace the fast oncoming tide. Many were lost to the fast flowing water, whirlpools and quicksand. Also lost were the wagons containing the King's Crown Jewels!.
For over 800 years people have searched along The Wash hoping to uncover pieces of the Lost Treasure...
