I have spent a few hours thinking about the title of this image. I thought of parents that make everything to raise the child and circumstances just cut off the sense of their life and efforts. But I couldn't put into one line all those thoughts and feelings. From the other side this image for me was also an example of completely opposite statement. That life continues often instead of something than due to. And that exact quality of life is the most important. Life must thrill to live.
And at that moment the name of the most life celebrating photography book by Ralf Steiner that I know came to my mind - "in spite of everything, Yes".
