CN 5779N Brunswick
The trainee of CN's Squamish turn has been tasked with connecting the cars they were told to pick up from storage at Brunswick siding. These cars have been in storage for a while and catching the train tasked to enter the barely used siding and pick these cars up was very cool. Sort of. About an hour and a half into their work train reporting told them to stop what they were doing, put the cars back in the siding the way they were originally, and continue heading north to Squamish. A mistake by CN led to a pretty unique photographic opportunity, thanks to the crew for being ok with me getting up and close as the North siding switch at Brunswick isn't very accessible without trespassing. Made sure to get out of there before train reporting dropped the bad news.
