Wonder Valley California home 'Lazy One' 2023 03

In Wonder Valley, east of Twentynine Palms, some properties are zoned, "rural living." On the Twentynine Palms end of the valley, lots can be as 'tiny' as an acre (0.4 hectare). On the east end of the valley, lots may be homestead sized (maybe 160 acres/~65 hectares). There is a mix of abandoned vacant homes, some sprayed with "Trump 2016" and clad with asbestos siding. Generally, there's a lot of space between homes. Electricity arrived about 1965 according to one source.

 

This is someone's project along Amboy Road. Some homes seem to be weekend getaway locations or bug-out locations.
