A System of Systems
May-October 2021. Spray paint and acrylic on the wall. 315x230 cm
The mural is an analysis of small and large systems, such as the biological system of human life, societal systems of morality, human behavior, and after life. I use direct symbols from biology, such as the chromosomes in cell division and neurons during neurotransmission, to show their foundation in the human body. The use of arrows/pathways indicates the interconnections and dependencies among the collective systems. It explores both social systems and the internalized systems within all people.
