Guest Bedroom
In the guest bedroom, the Client wanted a colorful and welcoming space. I took inspiration from the Client’s Indian heritage.
The shutters and ceiling fan came with the home. There is a bathroom to the back left of the room and a walk-in closet to the left of the entrance.
I designed the room from the rug. I pulled in two Moroccan nightstands (one wooden, one brass) to compliment the rug. Additionally, I included a beige dresser (barely photographed on far left) from a South Asian import store. It includes a red, yellow and blue colored design of Hindu god Krishna on the glass door of the facade. I added a blue and white silk comforter to add more pattern on a different scale of the rug. There is additionally a console table for guests to layout items.
