The two pictures I chose for this exercise are of my shed covered in ivy. The first one is capturing the shed in its environment by showing the context of it. The tree in the foreground and the other house in the background. The second one is the corner of the shed that is also almost completely covered in ivy. Also it is main subject of the image as the background is covered in blurred trees and the blue sky.
As for the artist, I thought that Ding Ren's work in paper intervention was really good. I especially liked his work in Sloterpark. Their method is very simple yet effective.
