With funding from the US Company for Worldwide Growth (USAID), the Food and Agriculture Group of the United Nations (FAO) in Sri Lanka has delivered 36 000 tonnes of Triple Tremendous Phosphate (TSP) fertilizer to the Ministry of Agriculture for fast distribution to all paddy farmers throughout the nation.
That is the primary cargo of TSP fertilizer to reach in Sri Lanka since 2021. It can present important vitamins to paddy crops cultivated by over a million paddy farmers within the upcoming Yala cultivation season (April – August 2023) and past.
The paddy farmers throughout the island will obtain the TSP fertilizer without charge.
