1983 Volkswagen Golf GTI 1.8
This is one of the later 1.8 MK1 GTIs and a late car overall being registered in June 1983. I believe it to be a Campaign limited edition run-out special too judging by the iconic Pirelli ‘P’ alloy wheels. It was once now also Mars Red but 10 years in direct sunlight has paid its price on the paintwork, This one confusingly has been off the road since 2013 and passed its last MOT with no advisories at 245000 miles. The owner seems to like their cars so hopefully this one will return to the road again.
