Celebrate! West Hartford - June 2022

Natural Dividends is working with the Town of West Hartford and the Department of Public Works at this year's @celebrateweha!

The event takes place June 11th & 12th and draws in over 40,000 visitors over those two days.

The town of West Hartford is taking actionable steps to make Celebrate! more sustainable! We at Natural Dividends are thrilled to be able to help take on the task.

We are:

Working directly with CWH food vendors by:
- Incentivizing them to reduce the amount of serving items they give to customers.
- Encouraging them to use sustainable/recyclable serving containers.
- Creating bronze, silver & gold level sustainability champions for participating vendors.

Promoting proper waste & recycling disposal by:
- Staffing (with volunteers) waste collection areas to help people dispose of items correctly.
- Using signage to help educate people.
