Increasing Nature's Share for Earth Day 2022

We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that was a part of our 1st annual Earth Day Event!

Our goal with the event was to create a space where individuals and sustainable organizations could connect to learn information on how to make actionable changes to live a more sustainable life.

We heard a lot of positive feedback from many of you and were motivated to have so many wonderful people all in one space. We hope the conversations and connections spurred future action that will pay dividends as time goes on.

Some highlights from the event:

We collected 179 pounds of trash from the event space and surrounding area!
Gathered several items for the West Hartford Food Bank.
Allowed space for individuals to connect with multiple organizations all in one area.
Provided free yoga to relax and connect with the environment.
Had the event featured on Fox 61 news.

We learned a lot from hosting this event and will work to improve it and make it better in the future.
