Increasing Nature's Share at Santa Monica Beach with One Sea Star - Feb 2022

We had 82 people in attendance, cleaning up the beach this past Sunday! Folks ranging in age from 13-71; groups representing the Collins & Katz Family Y, Palisades Y, Natural Dividends, as well as friends, families, and donors of One Sea Star. 35 lbs. of trash was collected and the 2 most "un-popular" items we collected were cigarette butts (684) and plastic pieces (951). Ugh, but Yay! This was in a 1 hour period of cleaning so imagine how much more is out there.
