Do you ever look around ?

 

And does it make your heart pound ?

 

To question, “who can one really trust?”

 

Or, “is this world so unjust?”

 

It seems we’ve made our own society,

 

One that provokes severe anxiety.

 

Where each and every one of us,

 

Would throw the other under the bus.

 

Is it too late ? Can it be stopped ?

 

Can the habits of humanity be swapped ?

 

But anyhow, I would advise,

 

That one should think, and look twice.

 

So not to be scolded by a poker,
